Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in San Antonio, TX, for a Medical Clerk. The Medical Clerk will manage clerical and administrative tasks, ensure accurate handling of medical records, verify medical documents, and assist in communicating with medical providers. Day-to-day responsibilities include answering and managing phone calls with professionalism, maintaining accurate records, organizing documentation, and supporting legal staff in cases involving medical details and records.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with general concepts in Medicine
- Proficiency in Clerical Skills, including data entry, organization, and filing
- Excellent Phone Etiquette and professional communication abilities
- Effective verbal and written Communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment with a team
- Previous experience in a legal or medical office setting is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in medical or legal administration are advantageous
