We are looking to hire an Senior Sales Operations Manager immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

The Senior Sales Operations Manager is a support function of the Sales Team. The person owns the oversight of the trade management system balancing >$550MM in trade promotion spend. This person must understand McCormick’s complex go-to market business model to make recommendations on tools and business process improvement areas to drive profitable growth. Must be able to manage day-to-day technical issues that arise with our business systems.
The role also oversees the team responsible for McCormick’s in-store merchandising units (temporary and permanent). Plus manages the relationship for all third-party vendors in this space. This role must understand cross functional partners roles and responsibilities to better drive efficiency and effective business solutions.

Base Salary: $121,900 - $219,410
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan. Responsibilities
- Manage sales tools and technology to enhance deployment of sales structure, strategy, new items, annual planning documents, and other business processes through internal and external systems. (i.e., Sales Link, TPM)
- Lead cross functional resources in the development, and maintenance of all merchandising vehicles, both permanent equipment and corrugate displays. Manage relationships with third party vendors
- Drive continuous improvement efforts for sales related business processes and technology needs
- Manage the end-to-end distressed product process, including third party vendors
- Oversee the routine communication process to sales and broker partners
- Financially accountable to maintain cost center budget and manage inventory position for merchandising equipment
- Attract, retain, and develop 7 members of the Sales Operations Team (4 direct, 3 indirect)
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics or other related fields
- 3 years of people management experience
- 3 years of experience with Trade Management Systems.
- Foundational and functional knowledge of industry trends and tools available throughout the CPG industry used to drive efficient and effective business planning to drive profitable growth
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office including PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI
- Must be able to work with large data sets including pulling and interrupting data independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Required to present to large groups of people virtually and in person
- Excellent planning and organizational skills. Required to manage multiple projects at the same time while managing day-to-day tasks and objectives
- The ability to negotiate with third party vendors
