McCormick & Company, Inc., a world leader in the spice, flavor and seasonings industry, is seeking a full time Sales Operations Specialist I supporting our NA Flavors business. This new hire will work in a hybird capacity in Hunt Valley, MD and will report to the Sr. Manager, NA Sales Operations.

This person will play a key role in supporting the NA Flavor Organization by performing value-added tasks specific to the Commercial function, including SAP data manipulation and filing of briefs, management & coordination of trade shows, supporting our Salesforce platform when it comes to account set up, data accuracy, user training & acceptance testing for system update as well as other adhoc responsibilities to enhance Sales Operations. This person will work collaboratively with cross functional teams across North America including Sales, IT, Marketing, R&D, Pricing and more to help support the customer as our #1 priority.


The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of project management, flexibility, high levels of communication and the ability to create sustainable and long-lasting internal relationships.


Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for being the Customer Contact/ Support for samples
  • Assist with various communications to Customers, as needed
  • Handle all aspects of registering for Trade Shows, Conventions, etc.
  • Generate documents/ reports utilizing standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in the development of SOPs as necessary, which may include process mapping and gap identification.
  • Enter and Process Invoices into SAP and follow through the purchase requisition process
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Monitor and optimizing processes related to reports, dashboards and KPIs to deliver timely insights across the enterprise. Provide interpretation & turn data into recommendations to the business including support for Integrated business planning (IBP), Mid tier scorecard & others
  • Support management of House / Value accounts
  • Some travel may be required (up to 20% of time)


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 2 years general business and/or customer management experience required with a preference for relevant business area such as sales operations, sales enablement, Project Coordination, or related field
  • Proven track record of building relationships & working effectively in a team-based organization, collaborating x-functionally, and building alignment around goals and objectives
  • Experience with Technology platforms with a preference for Salesforce, SAP and PowerBI
  • Strong Analytical & Organizations Skills to turn data into information

  • Great Communicator & listener
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time & work with cross functional teams
  • Problem solving while working within established processes and timelines
