About the Position:
We are working with a dynamic Chicago-based private market investment firm that has an immediate need for a junior/mid-level (4 years) corporate transactional or debt finance attorney to join the legal team. Debt finance or corporate/M&A (with interest in finance transactions) backgrounds are ideal.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in a range of debt finance/direct lending and other sophisticated transactions
• Review/negotiate NDAs and other commercial agreements
• Handle/manage entity formations, operating agreements, franchise tax filings, investor relations questions
• Handle compliance related to employee trading activity
• Review marketing material
Required Qualifications:
• 4 years of debt finance, corporate lending or corporate/M&A experience
• Experience or familiarity with finance transactions and documents (i.e. credit and security agreements, deposit account control agreements, UCC financing statements, payoff letters, participation agreements, etc.)
Location:
Chicago, IL; Local candidates strongly preferred.
