Position: Claims Adjuster
Location: Omaha, NE - In office
Type: Full-time Salaried
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate insurance claims
- Review policy coverage, determine liability, and settle claims in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, witnesses, and other relevant parties
- Document all claim activities and ensure accurate records are maintained
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient claim resolution
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to policyholders throughout the claims process
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as industry regulations
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in claims adjusting
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in claims adjusting
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using claims management software and tools
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Relevant certifications or licenses in claims adjusting preferred
