Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for producing small- to mid-scale batches of skincare, personal care, and UV-curable resin-based products according to established formulations and quality standards. This role focuses on manufacturing products in quantities ranging from gram-scale materials to drum and tote batches. The technician follows detailed formulations, weighs raw materials accurately, and operates various mixing and compounding equipment to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture skincare, personal care, and UV-curable resin products in batches up to 55-gallon drum and 100 gallon tote quantities.
- Perform both hot and cold processing for water-based and water-free skin care formulations.
- Follow written formulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to accurately weigh raw materials ranging from 0.01 g to 100 kg.
- Operate and maintain a variety of mixing equipment, scales, and production tools.
- Manufacture products according to the established production schedule and quality standards.
- Warehouse ownership and organization
- Perform batching, mixing, measuring, and documentation of all production runs.
- Ensure precise weighing, mixing, and preparation of raw materials according to formulas.
- Adjust product viscosity and perform cure-thickness testing when required.
- Conduct quality control (QC) evaluations on compounded and manufactured products as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Work with other technicians and manufacturing team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift, handle and maneuver up to 60 lb bulk material packs.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Capacity to work efficiently in time-sensitive situations while supporting team objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word and comfort navigating computers and network systems.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow product formularies, SOPs, and operational manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when weighing and preparing materials.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
