What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Attendant I (Event Attendant Set-Up/Housekeeping) position at MCCNO?
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Set up required chairs, tables, stages and risers for meeting rooms and general sessions to meet client requirements in a timely manner.
Perform general cleaning tasks of all public space, exhibit halls, meeting rooms, offices, restrooms, service areas and the perimeter of the building including loading docks, service drives, and remote truck staging area lots to ensure that the facility is maintained in world-class condition.
- Maintain trash receptacles.
- Remove and deliver trash and other disposable waste to designated waste compaction equipment and container areas.
- Collect recyclable waste and deliver to designated baling equipment and container areas.
Maintain and operate, in a proper and safe manner, all tools and equipment required in the performance of assigned duties to ensure a safe working environment and to protect the equipment and facility.
Perform general building services as required.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work irregular/extended hours as necessary including nights, weekends and holidays as show schedules dictate.
- Maintain a high emphasis on customer service and possess excellent communication skills.
