This role supports both the sales and service departments by moving vehicles, preparing inventory, and ensuring the lot and dealership areas are clean, safe, and customer-ready. JOB TITLE: Lot Technician
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
LOCATION: Cincinnati, OH - Kings Auto Mall
SCHEDULE: Evenings & Weekends required
A SHORT LIST OF YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the appearance and organization of new and used vehicle inventory
- Move vehicles between the lots, showroom, service drive, and detail department
- Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, including fueling, washing, and light cleaning
- Deliver parts to service technicians
- Assist with vehicle check-in and check-out for service customers
- Perform basic inspections (tire pressure, fluid levels, battery start-up as needed)
- Keep lot, drive lanes, and parking areas clean and free of debris
- Install license plates and temporary tags as directed
- Support dealership events and promotions by staging vehicles
- Pick up and drop off service customers/vehicles as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies
WE’RE LOOKING FOR A SELF-STARTER WHO MEETS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred)
- Prior dealership or automotive experience a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Customer-service oriented mindset
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment
