What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life Sciences Patent Prosecution Associate Attorney position at McClure Harrison, Inc.?
We are assisting our client, a prestigious Boston law firm, with their search for a patent prosecution associate with a life sciences background. In this role, you will draft patent applications, respond to office actions, coordinate with foreign counsel on international prosecution, conduct FTO analyses, conduct IP due diligence, provide support for patent litigation cases in district court and at the PTAB, and assist with IP agreements (including licenses and collaboration agreements).
The ideal candidate would have:
- 3-6 years of patent prosecution experience;
- A Ph.D. or Master’s degree in the biological sciences;
- JD from a T-20 law school or top 25% of a T-50 law school;
- USPTO registration;
- Massachusetts bar license
