McClure Company Service is seeking a confident and initiative-taking technical sales professional to grow our HVAC

business in the Pittsburgh area. This position is responsible for building additional customer base and developing strong business relationships.

HVAC Technical Sales Representative Essential Functions

• With minimal supervision, presents the McClure Company offerings - particularly focused on the company's target vertical markets; commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and government.
• Increase and maintain business opportunities by working with prospects and customers to identify their needs and present company products and services to meet those needs.
• Create targeted and effective proposals, answer questions and objections in an effective and responsible manner.
• Create cost estimates for HVAC Project and Maintenance scopes of work.
• Survey mechanical systems, equipment, and job conditions.
• Increase existing customer interaction and/or other services by maintaining ongoing relationships and insuring customer satisfaction.
• Self generate leads within the identified vertical markets and geographical regions.
• Leverage all of the McClure Company offerings to generate leads and cultivate additional opportunities.
• Build rapport and positive working relationships with office staff, field personnel and management.
• Become proficient on the McClure Company sales selling system.
• Upholds rigorous adherence to workplace safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

**HVAC Technical Sales Representative Experience, Technical Skills & Attributes Required:**

• Five (5) or more years of proven technical HVAC industry experience working directly with our target markets.
• HVAC Field experience preferred.
• Professional, dynamic presence and ability to communicate with people of all levels.
• Initiative-taking, relentless sales focus.
• Excellent written and verbal skills at technical and professional level.
• Ability to work independently in a demanding environment with measurable goals.
• Keen intelligence and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Five (5) or more years of proven technical HVAC industry experience working directly with our target markets.
• HVAC Field experience preferred.
