Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages using various brewing methods.
- Bake and assemble fresh baked organic goods, ensuring food safety standards and proper food handling procedures are maintained.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
- Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cashiering and basic retail math to process transactions smoothly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, food prep stations, and equipment to meet health regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking supplies as needed.
- Support food preparation tasks to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods while adhering to food safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience with a strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
- Demonstrated ability in food handling, food safety practices, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, food safety, and food preparation is a plus.
