Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Title Closer/Notary/Business Development specialist to join our team. This role involves managing the final stages of real estate transactions, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with industry regulations, and fostering new business opportunities. X factor Title & Closing is expanding to Lawton, OK. We are a small family owned operation that is looking to provide service and excellence to our realtor partners and clients. This Role is new you are required to bring 10-15 closings at minimum a month on average. You will do this by marketing and being relevant. Training will be in Broken Arrow, OK for 2 weeks. Willing to train the right person. Pay is based on experience.
Duties
- Prepare and review closing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations, including TILA, escrow, and contracts.
- Notarize documents in accordance with legal requirements, maintaining proper certification and adherence to notary laws.
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and clients to facilitate smooth closing processes.
- Conduct credit analysis and assist in loan processing activities related to mortgage origination and servicing.
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and other applicable banking standards during all transactions.
- Support business development initiatives by establishing relationships with potential clients and referral partners.
- Manage loan documentation workflows, including FNMA guidelines, underwriting requirements, and loan officer procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions and ensure timely completion of closing activities.
- Assist with compliance audits related to mortgage servicing, TILA disclosures, and other regulatory requirements.
- Perform basic math calculations accurately for escrow amounts, interest calculations, and other financial figures using 10-key typing skills.
- File Documents with the county.
- Provided excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mortgage industry roles such as loan officer, loan processing, or underwriting preferred.
- Strong understanding of FNMA guidelines, loan origination processes, and mortgage servicing operations.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, TILA disclosures, escrow procedures, and contracts related to real estate transactions.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to review complex documents for accuracy.
- Familiarity with credit analysis techniques and basic math skills necessary for financial calculations.
- Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for data entry tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills for client interaction and business development efforts.
