OverviewWe’re looking for an early-career, high-motivation sales professional who wants to grow fast. This role focuses on identifying service and install opportunities in HVAC, Plumbing, Refrigeration, and Energy Solutions, building strong client relationships, and helping McCloskey Mechanical win profitable work.You don’t need years of experience — you need drive, curiosity, communication skills, and the willingness to learn our industry inside and out. You’ll work closely with our VP of Sales and project teams to understand customer needs, build trust, and support the sales cycle from first conversation to final proposal.What You’ll DoSales & Lead GenerationIdentify new clients and sales opportunities across our service territory.Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with the VP of Sales.Research markets, industries, and properties to uncover new revenue opportunities.Actively reach out to prospects, follow up consistently, and keep conversations moving.Client EngagementMeet with potential and existing clients to understand needs, challenges, and budgets.Help translate client needs into solutions that fit their facility, timeline, and costs.Participate in networking, industry events, and relationship-building activities.Internal CoordinationWork closely with Service Managers, Estimators, Procurement, and Field Supervisors to gather technical details and pricing guidance.Assist with preparing quotes and formal proposals.Support Accounts Receivable by helping resolve payment questions when needed.Process & ToolsKeep CRM data clean, organized, and fully up-to-date.Follow all pricing, onboarding, and sales workflow requirements.Continue learning—products, equipment, building systems, and industry trends evolve, and you’ll be expected to grow right along with them.RequirementsStrong communication skills — you like talking to people and building relationships.High motivation, resilience, and comfort working in a fast-paced sales environment.Ability to research, organize information, and follow up consistently.Basic understanding of sales principles, customer engagement, or business development.Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, etc.) is helpful.Interest in technical solutions (HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems) — we’ll train you.A team-first mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed.BenefitsHealth insurancePaid time off
