About the Role
You will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and collaborate with project managers and leadership to ensure timely and precise financial reporting. Construction industry experience is strongly preferred, as you’ll be working with job costing, subcontractor billing, and project‑based financial workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable — Prepare invoices, track payments, manage collections, and reconcile customer accounts.
- General Ledger — Post journal entries, assist with month‑end close, reconcile accounts, and support financial statement preparation.
- Compliance & Documentation — Maintain organized records, support audits, and ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- 3 years of accounting experience (AR//GL required)
- Construction industry experience highly preferred
- Strong understanding of job costing, progress billing, and subcontractor documentation
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Viewpoint, Foundation or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Pay: $65,000.00 per year
