Project Manager – Digital Supply Chain Execution & Integration

Salary Range: 95,000 – 125,000

Supporting McDonald’s U.S. Supply Chain

Role Overview

McClement is seeking a Project Manager to track and support the day-to-day execution of digitalization initiatives of the US McDonald’s supply chain.

This role will operate at the center of the program—ensuring milestones are met, dependencies are managed, and stakeholders remain aligned across McDonald’s, suppliers, and DCs and restaurants. Responsibilities include driving the execution across digital workstreams, supplier onboarding, distribution center (DC) rollouts, restaurant integration along with the deployment of system wide digital tools.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role requiring strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to keep multiple teams and workstreams moving forward in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Program Execution & Tracking

  • Maintain and manage the integrated program plan, including supplier onboarding, DC rollout, and deployment milestones
  • Track progress across all workstreams (e.g., tagging readiness, equipment implementation, data integration) and ensure deadlines are met
  • Monitor dependencies across suppliers, DCs, and technology teams; proactively flag risks or delays
  • Drive weekly execution cadence (status tracking, updates, follow-ups, action item management)
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of all program tracking tools and reporting

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate day-to-day execution across McDonald’s Operations, Technology, Supply Chain, and McClement teams
  • Align suppliers and DCs on key readiness activities, including tag application, line enablement, and data capture requirements
  • Support execution of Supplier Playbook requirements and ensure alignment to defined standards
  • Facilitate working sessions to resolve execution gaps and maintain forward progress

Issue & Risk Management

  • Identify execution risks and bottlenecks impacting supplier onboarding, DC readiness, or digital app deployment
  • Track and manage issues through resolution with clear ownership and deadlines
  • Escalate blockers (e.g., equipment delays, data gaps, supplier readiness issues) with recommended actions
  • Maintain centralized logs for risks, issues, and key decisions

Communications & Reporting

  • Prepare and distribute weekly program updates, dashboards, and executive summaries
  • Consolidate inputs across teams into clear, concise reporting for leadership
  • Ensure consistent messaging across stakeholders, including internal teams and suppliers
  • Support development of materials tied to Supplier Playbook rollout, DC activation, and app usage

Meeting & Governance Support

  • Drive execution of program meetings (agenda setting, notes, action tracking)
  • Ensure meetings result in clear decisions, owners, and next steps
  • Support governance forums by preparing materials and tracking follow-ups across programming milestones

Process & Tool Management

  • Maintain program trackers (supplier readiness, DC rollout status, equipment deployment, data integration)
  • Standardized ways of working across teams (status reporting, escalation paths, action tracking)
  • Improve processes to increase visibility and efficiency across supplier and DC onboarding

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5–8 years of experience in project or program management, operations, or supply chain
  • Experience supporting large-scale deployment programs (e.g., supplier onboarding, technology rollout, or network implementation)
  • Strong experience managing execution across multiple workstreams with detailed tracking
  • Experience working in matrixed environments with corporate and external partners (suppliers, vendors, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in program tracking tools (Excel, Smartsheet, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tight timelines

Key Competencies

  • Execution Discipline – Drives follow-through and ensures commitments are met
  • Organization & Detail Orientation – Maintains accuracy across complex tracking
  • Accountability – Holds self and others responsible for delivery
  • Clear Communication – Provides concise, actionable updates
  • Problem Solving – Quickly identifies issues and drives resolution

Why This Role Matters

EDSC is a complex, multi-phase rollout requiring coordination across suppliers, distribution centers, and internal teams.

Success depends on strong execution, clear tracking, and disciplined follow-up—particularly as suppliers implement tagging at the line level, DCs activate EDSC capabilities, and the EDSC app is deployed across the network.

This role ensures the program stays on track—keeping teams aligned, removing blockers, and driving progress against critical deployment milestones.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Experience in QSR or food supply chain environments is a plus
