ELEMENTARY CLASSROOM TEACHER
2026-2027 School Year
Assignments TBD, Location - McCleary Elementary
The Craig County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for an elementary teaching position that is available within our division for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with the appropriate endorsement to teach at the elementary school level
- Have experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
- Have experience or working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction, collaboration and course work
- Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
- Demonstrate the ability to be dependable and punctual
- Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate with a team of other teachers
Salary: 2026-2027 Teacher Salary Scales
FLSA: Exempt
