We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and setting up CNC equipment, maintaining tight tolerances, and producing high-quality parts. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (mills, lathes, or both)
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience
- Strong understanding of G-code and machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret prints and GD&T
- Experience with setups and first-piece inspections
- Familiarity with various materials (steel, aluminum, plastics, titanium, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with CAD/CAM software
- Programming experience with GibbsCam preferred as that's what we use but not needed
