What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traffic Control Crew Members position at McClain & Co., Inc.?
McClain & Co has immediate openings for Traffic Control Crew Members for our Traffic Control Division based out of Culpeper, VA..
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record (will need to provide a copy of motor vehicle record from DMV)
- Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card
- Traffic control experience preferred but not required
- Some out-of-town travel is required – Company will pay travel expenses and per diem.
- Starting rate of pay is based upon previous experience.
Responsibilities:
- Setting temporary work zones on highways with cones, barrels, and signs
- Loading/Unloading work zone equipment
- Managing traffic safely through work zones while standing, using a stop/slow paddle and/or radio communication.
- Ability to operate a straight rack body Truck.
