The Opportunity
We are seeking Independent Sales Representatives to join our growing team. This is a commission-only opportunity for driven professionals who are passionate about the home furnishings industry, thrive in relationship-based sales, and excel at growing territory business.
Our territory includes: Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kansas, Illinois, Missouri, and Georgia.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent McCauley House vendor lines within assigned territory.
- Prospect, cold call, and develop new business with retail accounts, designers, and contract accounts.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular contact, service, and follow-up.
- Present catalogs, samples, and pricing to customers while staying current on seasonal introductions, promotions, and vendor programs.
- Attend all required industry trade shows and markets; schedule and maintain appointments with accounts during shows.
- Enter and sync orders daily to ensure accurate reporting.
- Maintain professional communication with agency management and vendors.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience, preferably in furniture, lighting, or home décor.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage an independent contractor role, covering all travel and territory expenses.
- Must attend all trade shows/markets where McCauley House vendors exhibit.
- Access to reliable transportation and insurance coverage.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to agency standards and expectations.
