We’re seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. As a key member of our front desk team, you’ll play a vital role in providing outstanding customer service, supporting our veterinary staff, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism—both in person and over the phone
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar for doctors and technicians
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, text, email, and in-person interactions
- Provide accurate information about our services, products, and pet care procedures
- Handle check-ins and check-outs, including collecting payments and processing invoices
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records using veterinary software
- Triage client concerns and determine when to escalate issues to medical staff
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient front desk area
- Work collaboratively in a dynamic environment with a wide variety of clients and their pets
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in customer service or receptionist roles (veterinary or medical experience a plus!)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- A compassionate and patient demeanor—especially when dealing with nervous pets or emotional clients
- Comfort using computers and scheduling software (training provided)
