109 year old family company seeking numerous qualified candidates for various machine operations. Will train and cross train until we find the right fit for both the company and individual.
Duties
- Train and operate various machines including the feeding end of an offset printing press, paper cutters, and a flexo printing press.
- Set up machines according to specifications and perform necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise during operation.
- Collaborate with team members on the floor for efficient materials handling and packaging operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is essential.
- Hands-on experience with basic tools.
- Previous factory or warehouse experience will be advantageous in understanding workflow processes.
