McCartney’s is looking for a client-facing interior designer to join our team and step into an established, growing role supporting commercial, education, and healthcare environments.

Position Overview
This role blends design expertise with client interaction. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively to support projects, maintain relationships, and deliver thoughtful solutions.
Over time, you will take ownership of an existing portfolio of clients while continuing to grow your skills and contribute to new opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with customers to understand needs and develop design solutions
- Create furniture specifications and layouts using design software and other tools
- Support and maintain existing customer relationships
- Assist internal sales team with design needs and project support
· Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, administration, logistics, and installation) to support project coordination
- Stay current on product offerings, materials, and industry research and trends
· Support business development efforts as needed.
Work Environment
- Combination of independent work and team collaboration
- Regular local travel (up to ~1 hour) for client visits
- Occasional longer-distance travel
- Dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Exposure to a wide variety of commercial environments and projects
What We’re Looking For

- Strong interest and aptitude in interior design and space planning
- Creative thinker with a “flair” for design, ergonomics and aesthetics
- Good listener who can translate client needs into solutions
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable learning and using design and business software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional, approachable, and collaborative
· Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow
Experience
- Interior design experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with CET Commercial Interiors is a plus, but not required
- Candidates with related experience or strong interest will be considered
