JOB TITLE: Mobile Press Tech
COMPANY: McCarthy Tire Service
LOCATION: Wilmington, NC
JOB TYPE: Full-Time
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Operate a tire press
· Ability to safely operate a variety of forklifts.
· Identify and isolate the problem, quickly work toward resolution.
· Perform service in shop (mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires) and repair work for customers as directed by Manager (both inside and mobile)
· Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies
· Any other duties as assigned; may require occasional travel and overtime as needed.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Other duties can and will arise, and candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· High School Degree or GED is preferred but not necessary.
· Experience in this exact job is not necessary, will train the correct candidate thoroughly.
REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum age of 18.
· Must have a valid driver's license.
· Experience with heavy duty and commercial tires, particularly tire mounting and dismounting.
· Posses a clean driving record
