We’re seeking a motivated and customer-focused Commercial Tire Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll be the face of our company—building lasting relationships with customers, generating new business, and ensuring that our clients receive top-tier service and support. Key Responsibilities
Visit assigned customers regularly to maintain strong business relationships.
Record daily activities using our CRM tool to ensure accurate account tracking.
Cold call and prospect for new business opportunities.
Communicate parts orders to the warehouse and determine stock vs. emergency needs.
Confirm customer approval on delivery dates for non-stock items prior to ordering.
Review and obtain management approval for special orders and pricing.
Provide clear delivery instructions to the warehouse team.
Deliver products directly to customers when needed.
Follow up on parts orders to ensure prompt and accurate service.
Coordinate with the service shop to support service-related sales.
Submit completed call reports, timesheets, and expense reports on time.
Keep customer records up to date with changes in contact information or preferences.
Conduct fleet surveys as required.
Add new customers to appropriate mailing and contact lists.
Attend training sessions and seminars to stay current on products and industry trends.
Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
Support all company sales initiatives and promotions.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or 1–2 years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination.
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – and confidence speaking in front of customers or groups.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and smartphone applications.
Ability to interpret safety guidelines, manuals, and work instructions.
Comfortable with basic math (including fractions, decimals, percentages, and bar graphs).
Must have a valid driver’s license.
