Job Title: Delivery Driver (Local)
Location: Local routes – home daily
Job DescriptionMcCarthy Tire Service is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for making timely local deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety and DOT regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesComplete daily delivery routes based on a weekly schedule set by management
Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all DOT regulations
Load and unload products from delivery trucks
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain preventative maintenance (PM) records
Operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Adhere to all McCarthy Tire Service policies, procedures, and safety standards
Perform other duties as assigned; flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities are expected
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience within the last 3 years
Experience driving a 26-foot box truck preferred
Valid driver’s license
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
Minimum age of 18
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Flexible schedule availability
Must be authorized to work in the United States
