Job Summary
McCarthy Concrete, Inc. is seeking a reliable, hardworking Warehouse & Yard worker with forklift experience to support our daily construction operations. This role involves operating forklifts, loading and unloading project materials and equipment, organizing the warehouse and yard, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
This is a hands-on position suited for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a construction and materials setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials, pallets, equipment, and inventory.
- Unload containers, deliveries, and incoming project materials.
- Load and unload project materials and equipment in and out of trailers for jobsite deployment.
- Assist with manual handling of materials when required.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse and yard to ensure efficient workflow and accessibility of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of forklifts, tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Support general warehouse, yard, and logistics tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Experience in warehouse, yard, construction, or building materials environments strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday — 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
Compensation
- $25/hour, competitive and based on experience.
