- The Candidate must be experienced with both shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), flux cored arc welding (FCAW), and tungsten inert gas welding (TIG).
- Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used on civil construction projects.
- 3 years’ experience in welding preferred
- Must have appropriate pipe certifications
- Familiarity with shop fabrication techniques and strategies required
- Experience using a cutting torch
- Must pass a 6G position welding test for carbon steel pipe
- Must have knowledge of Process Piping Systems/Isometric Drawings'
- Must be comfortable working in heights of up to 30ft as well as out in the field.
- General knowledge of construction principles/processes required.
- Proven commitment to Safety and building relationships in a team setting.
- Stick / MIG Certified
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used on construction projects.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Knowledge of aspects of surface preparation, electrode storage, welding machine set up, etc.
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used on construction projects
- Must be self-motivated

- Ability to work in fast paced work environment with multi trade work activities at the same time
