Instrument Man

POSITION SUMMARY

The Instrument Man will support an exciting Renewable Energy project in LaRue, TX. This role is responsible for using a Trimble Robotic Total Station with Trimble Access software to establish points, boundaries, lines, elevations, and other critical project measurements. The ideal candidate has 3 years of Instrument Man experience with strong knowledge of construction staking, level loops, and GPS site calibration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience working on new construction projects in commercial, civil, or marine environments

• Able to perform work with minimum supervision

• Understand construction terminology

• Basic Mathematics skills

• Must identify and utilize common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, laser level, water pump, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.)

• Proven commitment to Safety

• Work in an organized manner

• Able to work night shifts when needed

• Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

• Must be self-motivated and can work well with others

• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

• Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds

• Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces

• Minimum age 18

• Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization

• TWIC Card required
