Responsibilities
Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests of fully assembled and wired control panels.
- Perform thorough electrical testing including continuity tests, point-to-point checks, voltage testing, and functional simulation.
- Identify, troubleshoot, repair and document panel issues, wiring errors, or functionality problems clearly and efficiently.
- Build and wire control panels as needed, while providing feedback and supporting training efforts to improve assembly and wiring quality within the team.
- Ensure compliance with all industry standards, including NEC, UL508A, and internal QA/QC requirements.
- Promote safety by adhering to all safety guidelines, using proper PPE, keeping your workspace clean, and actively participating in safety discussions.
- Expert ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency with electrical test equipment including multimeters, continuity testers, and simulation devices.
- Excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy and visual quality.
- Significant experience in control panel testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance roles.
- Familiarity with UL508A certification procedures and requirements.
- Proven ability to support the skill development of junior technicians within an industrial control setting.
- Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds
- Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces
- Minimum age 18
