This entry-level position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals eager to learn technical procedures and support laboratory operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities::
- Conduct daily laboratory testing safely and accurately in compliance with OSHA standards and internal SOPs.
- Receive, label, log, and prepare samples using techniques such as drying, crushing, and pulverizing.
- Maintain clean lab conditions and ensure proper disposal or archiving of samples.
- Perform basic sample analysis and document results in lab notebooks and reports.
- Support quality control and data tracking efforts using Excel and Word.
- Assist in general lab maintenance and contribute to team initiatives.
- Travel occasionally to client or company sites as needed.
Qualifications: :
- High School diploma or equivalent (required).
- No prior lab experience necessary; training provided.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Willingness to learn technical processes and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with moderate supervision.
- Valid driver’s license; MSHA certification may be required post-hire.
