Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Litigation Associate Attorney based in the firm's Leesburg, Virginia office.
The attorney will handle a variety of litigation responsibilities, including preparing and filing motions and briefs, conducting depositions, managing discovery processes, and representing clients in court proceedings and trials.
The role requires both in-office presence in Leesburg, VA, and the flexibility to work remotely as needed. The attorney will work closely with clients to provide high-caliber legal representation and deliver timely, effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Current member of the Virginia State Bar
- 3 years of experience in civil litigation
- Judicial clerkship at a Northern Virginia circuit court is a plus, and is credited toward the experience requirement
- Skilled in preparing and managing motions, briefs and other pleadings
- Experience with courts and trials, including court appearances and case presentations
- Competence in depositions and discovery processes
- Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a hybrid work environment
