What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packer position at McCallion Staffing Specialists?
Manufacturing company in Warminster is looking for a packer. No experience required, they will train. Hours are Monday-Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am-1:30pm. Overtime is available.
Responsibilities include:
- Visual inspection/Measurement of product
- Packing, packaging and labeling product
- Use of secondary processing machines
- Record keeping (writing down packing info on supplied production paperwork.)
- Notify Process Supervisor of out of spec conditions
- Needs to be able to set and understand micrometer, caliper, pin gage readings for measurements, will train
- Needs to be able to occasionally lift up to 25lb’s to move completed cartons. (More often cartons only weight 10 to 12 1⁄2 pounds.)
- Needs to be able to read (instructions written in English) work instructions, and quality procedures to adhere to ISO approved requirements.
- Assigned daily work station, is rotated, after approx. 4 hours.
- Work stations have seat stools available, and thick rubber mats for leg/foot comfort.
