Local Truck Driver

Overview:

Our small but growing organization is seeking a qualified and reliable Truck Driver to support daily transportation operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely movement of goods, safe vehicle operation, and consistent representation of the company’s standards during all deliveries and customer interactions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and promptly report any maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required documentation.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured, handled, and delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
• Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Adhere to company policies regarding safety, conduct, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and current DOT physical; CDL is required and must be able to drive both 10-speed semi-truck and automatic, depending on vehicle assignment.
• Safe driving history with no disqualifying incidents; must be provided if hired.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds as required.
• Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic.
• Commitment to punctuality, safety, and adherence to established procedures are a must.
