McCall Middle School is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret a wide range of cognitive and academic assessments and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills to support student success.
Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Expertise in using a variety of tools and approaches to help students, families, and teachers address factors that impact learning

Ability to work collaboratively with educators and service providers to meet individual student needs

Experience writing IEP goals and benchmarks, preparing progress reports, and contributing meaningfully during IEP meetings

Appreciation for and ability to work with students from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
Primary Duties May Include:

Conducting psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive abilities, attention, memory, social-emotional functioning, and behavior

Writing comprehensive reports summarizing assessment results for initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and additional testing as needed

Providing counseling services as outlined in students’ IEPs

Participating in special education Team meetings and school-based mental health or counseling teams

Consulting with school staff, including administrators, related service providers, general educators, and special educators

Facilitating counseling groups focused on social skills, friendship, and related areas
Additional Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Candidates must hold the appropriate School Psychologist license issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
