Hours:
6PM-6:30AM
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on packaging equipment to prevent downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical faults accurately
- Repair or replace defective parts promptly to minimize production disruptions
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation for all repairs and inspections
- Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities without interrupting workflow
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist in setting up new machinery or upgrades to improve packaging efficiency and reliability
Qualifications
- Proven experience with mechanical maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters is required
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward equipment issues
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during the 2nd shift hours
