Receiver

Function:       Efficiently and accurately check and receive deliveries to company standards.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Unload deliveries and verify invoices
• Ability to perform data entry in a computer and extract information on orders and/or purchase orders.
• Ready receiving documents in an organized way for delivery to HQ daily. 
• Proficiency with forklift and hand jack is a plus, however, we will provide training if needed in order to operate this machinery.

• Manage UPS and FedEx deliveries

• Strong organizational skills.

• Reporting and documenting damaged shipments

• Maintaining work area in a clean, orderly and safe condition
• Strong interpersonal skills are a must as we promote teamwork at all levels to be efficient and successful at providing the high level of customer service we are known for.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to master and complete several tasks at a time.
• Ability to read and interpret written information in the English language.
• Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of multiple digit numbers and a general understanding of operations using units of currency, weights and measurements.
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.

• Perform other duties deemed necessary

Physical Demands:

 • Ability to move product into storerooms from trucks and delivery vehicles and break down merchandise from warehouse stock in preparation for pack out.
 • Ability to place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets and U-boats at various heights.
 • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the backroom and receiving area.
