We are a growing, design-focused gardening company specializing in small urban gardens and high-end seasonal container plantings. Our clients are located in Boston’s South End, Chestnut Hill, and Brookline, and value thoughtful design and meticulous care.
This is a great opportunity for hands-on garden work, client interaction, and the chance to learn directly from a CEO with 25 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain seasonal plantings based on design plans
- Read and execute garden and container designs with attention to detail
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients
- Perform hands-on gardening tasks including planting, pruning, and weeding
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Work outdoors on high-end residential properties
Requirements
- 1-3 years of horticulture or gardening experience preferred
- Experience with (or strong interest in learning) seasonal container design
- Strong attention to detail and a clean, design-oriented aesthetic
- Comfortable working with high-end clients in a professional setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and perform physical labor (lift up to 50 lbs, stand for 8 hours)
- Work authorization in the U.S. (required)
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
