Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashier duties with integrity and accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas and seating spaces
- Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards
Experience
- Prior barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through strong time management skills
- Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and basic math for retail math calculations
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashiering operations in a retail or café environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish)
