Located in beautiful South Pittsburg, TN & just a short drive from Chattanooga, McBride Meats Co. is Tennessee’s largest fully USDA beef processing plant. We are currently looking to hire an experienced butcher/shift leader for our 2nd Shift Crew. Come join our fun filled crew & build a lifetime career with us!
This role consists of leading the 2nd Shift cutting/packing room crew while butchering beef & maintaining USDA health, safety, & sanitation standards.

Requirements for the role:
-Minimum 2 years experience as a butcher.
-Must be able & know how to breakdown a beef carcass.
-Must be able to handle & maintain proficiency & quality work at a high speed work environment.
-Must be able to read & follow cutting instructions.
-Ability & willingness to help crew pack, inventory, & label beef product when not butchering.
-Minimum of (3) non related references.
-Must be a self motivated leader & driven.
-Must be able to lift at-least 100lb.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
