McBride Construction is adding a few more carpenters to the team. We are in need of qualified craftspeople who possess high level skillsets performing the following scopes: stick framing, window/door installation, and finish carpentry. All applicants should have a general knowledge of weather-resistive barrier principles. This is a great opportunity for craftspeople with a developed and wide-ranging skillset to work alongside our long tenured crew. Our team typically works Monday through Friday and rarely works weekends, giving our crew the ability to spend weekend doing weekend things.

Requirements

• Constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures and fixtures with many different building materials.
• Must possess a high level in at least two construction disciplines described above.
• Interpret blueprints and layout between the phases of construction.
• Position requires a worker with varied experience and ability to perform multiple tasks transferring from one task to another according to work demands. Work under the direction of a supervisor or skilled worker and direct apprentice carpenters and laborers when directed.
• This job requires practical problem solving in standardized situations and the ability to interpret and follow instructions.
• This position requires heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and traversing scaffolding. Details of physical demands are provided during the interview process.
