Do you enjoy helping people, working in a friendly team environment, and being surrounded by beautiful plants? We're looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Cashier / Customer Service Associate to join our local plant nursery team!
Situated in scenic Snohomish, our boutique nursery is located a short distance from urban centers. We offer farm grown and locally sourced quality plants and garden inspired home decor. We are a full-service nursery, open 7 days a week, all year round.
At McAuliffe's Valley Nursery we pride ourselves on providing a high level of customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere, from greeting our visitors, to offering recommendations and support throughout their shopping experience.
The nursery is a wonderful place to work for its ever-changing seasons and opportunities for creative expression.
Position Requirements:
- Retail and Cashiering (Cash/Card/POS) experience
- Strong Customer Service, Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Experience in Retail Merchandising is an asset
- Restock merchandise, décor, and displays while maintaining the look and style of the store.Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in retail space, storage and common areas
- The ability to stay on your feet and engaged throughout the day
- Plant identification & knowledge is helpful and encouraged
- Flexible & Friendly: We have a friendly atmosphere where we encourage, help and inspire not just our customers but each other as well. Our staff works as a team, helping where they are needed throughout the nursery.
