Qualifications:
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1) Monitoring and troubleshooting electronic security systems, Intrusion Detection System, alarm, mass notification and CCTV systems; 2) Receiving and processing incoming fire alarms, 911 calls, emergency and non-emergency requests for police, fire, medical emergencies or incidents, airfield emergencies and environmental and hazardous materials incidents; and 3) Dispatching personnel and apparatus to emergencies, record data, events and logs and initiate instructions to callers for fire, medical and police emergencies.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
