PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Hired applicant is responsible for coaching a middle school UIL sport offered by the McAllen ISD Athletic Department: football, volleyball, cross country, tennis, swimming, basketball, soccer, golf, cheerleading & track and field.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED
Associate's Degree or a minimum of 48 college hours, required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to work cooperatively with student athletes, coaching staff, teachers, administration and parents; must fulfill all UIL requirements for coaches-Rules Compliance Program, Professional Acknowledgement Form, First Aid and CPR certified, must attend a UIL Orientation Session, must attend Concussion Training as scheduled; knowledge of fitness and sports activities; and ability to speak, read, write and follow written and oral instructions
Experience:
Previous experience working with student athletes in sports and recreational activities preferred
Working Days: 180 / Up to 25 hrs per week
Pay Date: Biweekly
