Duties

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, upselling menu items, and processing payments.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring proper food handling practices.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting food preparation and cooking processes.
• Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and manage cash handling with accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; prior cashiering experience is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards consistently.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities.
• Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is advantageous.
