About the Role:
The Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Night Shift plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, specialized care to critically ill patients during overnight hours. This position requires vigilant monitoring of patients' conditions, timely interventions, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN will manage complex medical equipment, administer medications, and provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times. Working the night shift, the nurse must maintain acute attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
- Minimum experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation software.
- Strong background in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Previous experience working night shifts in a hospital ICU setting.
- Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if applicable.
Responsibilities:
