What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Extern position at McAlester Regional Health Center?
Provides direct and indirect patient care through the application of the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care rendered under the direct supervision of the assigned licensed nurse. Care provided will address physical, psychosocial, rehabilitative, and discharge needs of the patient and his/her family. Collaborates with other health care professionals, coordinates ancillary staff, functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of MRHC and within the legal framework of the State of Oklahoma.
