Industrial Maintenance Technician (12 hr. Shift)

Industrial Maintenance Technician installs, repairs and maintains our equipment and buildings through troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of service.

Responsibilities:

•            Produce products that are safe, legal, and with excellent quality
• ·        Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
• ·        Repair pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems
• ·        Maintain controls, values, and calibrations to make sure everything is functioning properly
• ·        Make emergency repairs when necessary to off-set excessive down time and production delays
• ·        Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify and correct equipment failures
• ·      Troubleshoot plant electrical issues and maintain all plant electrical equipment
• ·       AC and DC troubleshooting skills are a must
• ·       Use instructions or manuals on installations, systems layout, and changeovers to complete project work
• ·       Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
• ·       Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• ·       Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, spending working hours on your feet, etc.
