Software engineer - UI

Role Overview

We are the eCommerce team of McAfee building next-generation solutions to help acquire new customers and retain existing customers. This position is for a creative UI/Web Developer who has expertise in front-end technologies and frameworks, with a keen eye for design and user experience. You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and product teams to create high-quality web applications with seamless user interfaces.

This is a Hybrid position located in Frisco, TX. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis, typically 2x per week. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to this location and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About The Role

• Develop responsive, high-performance, and visually appealing web applications.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to bring wireframes and mockups to life.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Determine best coding practices, development tools, and validation requirements.
• Work with multiple technologists in the company and within the industry, including developers and project managers, to evaluate the feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development.
  
  

About You

• Expertise with Vue is essential for success in this position.
• 3-5 years of experience with expertise in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, React JS, JavaScript, Angular JS, etc.
• Knowledge of working on Adobe Experience Manager and related technology and components would be a good addition.
• Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Extensive experience with designing and building UI frameworks.
• Collaborate with back-end and application developers to integrate the data from various back-end services.
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics and network analytics tools.
• Good experience with version control, automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
