The Role
We are looking for an experienced mid-level architect or designer, preferably with a focus on custom residential design and construction. You should be fluent in AutoCAD, confident in your technical knowledge, and comfortable with both design and the preparation of construction drawings.
- Experience: Preferably a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a residential architecture firm.
- Education: Bachelor of Architecture or related degree
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Experience with 3D modeling/rendering software is preferred.
- Expertise: Strong grasp of wood-frame construction and a sharp eye for precision and detail. Detailed understanding of building materials, detailing, and construction techniques. Working knowledge of building and zoning codes.
- Local Connection: Based in or near the Ocean City, New Jersey area.

- Design: Assisting with all phases of design, from conceptual sketches through construction documents.
