Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, and other outdoor power equipment with precision and efficiency
- Perform comprehensive service repairs on all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles, and powersports equipment, ensuring optimal functionality
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems using hand tools and power tools
- Assemble new equipment and perform routine maintenance to extend product lifespan
- Replace or repair brakes, suspension components, welding parts, and perform welding as needed to restore safety standards
- Solder electrical connections and ensure all wiring meets safety protocols
- Assist customers by providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance, repairs, and product features to enhance their experience
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience in small engine or powersports repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine systems and mechanical systems repair
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics and electrical diagnostics tools
- Familiarity with all-terrain vehicle repair, motorcycle repair, brake repair, suspension work, welding, soldering, and assembly processes
- Ability to lift heavy equipment safely during repairs or maintenance tasks
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and vehicle maintenance techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward sales and technical support
- Valid mechanic experience with a focus on small engines or powersports equipment is highly preferred
